ADMINISTRATIVE RULES
PURPOSE
- The Event Rules are intended to provide for the orderly
and consistent administration of this event only. Madness
Racing makes no express or implied warranty, guarantee, or
representation regarding the degree of safety, which may or
may not result from compliance with the Event Rules. Every
participant, official, volunteer and spectator should
consider all safety issues and make related decisions
prudently without reliance upon these Event Rules.
All
participants must sign a liability waiver and carry a
medical history form to participate.
GEAR INSPECTION
Madness Racing does
not inspect individual participants gear and does not make
any guarantee or ensure safety from personal injury or
property damage resulting from the failure of any piece of
personally owned gear.
It is the sole responsibility of
event participants to assure their equipment is operational
and safe.
HEALTH & FITNESS
This event requires an
adequate level of fitness that might be expected of a
prudent person entering a similar competition. Neither
Madness Racing nor its associates assess the health or
fitness level of participants in any way prior to the start
of this event. It is the sole responsibility of participants
to train adequately for this event and be in excellent
health, based on recent training, physical examinations, if
any, and generally accepted standards of good health.
TEAM DESIGNATIONS
Solo (male, female);
Two Person (male, female, co-ed); Three Person (male,
female, co-ed); Four Person (male, female, co-ed). There will be no age categories.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
Participants must: be
eighteen (18) years of age; or be 16+ years of age with a
signed parental permission form; or be 14+ years of age
participating on the same team as their legal guardian.
Participants under 18 years of age must have signed parental
permission on the liability waiver form to participate.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Madness Racing
reserves the right to cancel this event. If the event is
cancelled, Madness Racing will post a notice on the Web site
and, if possible, send an e-mail to participants, volunteers
and sponsors. A cancellation notice will also be posted at
the physical event site.
REFUND POLICY
Due to the nature of
this event, Madness Racing is not able to offer refunds
after March 11, 2011. This policy is the same whether Madness
Racing cancels the event, or one or more of the registered
team fails to show.
